The device contains a chromogenic liquid media formulated with antibiotics, growth enhancers, and color-changing compounds specific to Listeria species. A change in color after 24-48 hours of incubation is considered presumptive positive. No lab equipment is required to perform the test and no additional sample handling of the sample is necessary.

• EASY TO INTERPRET COLOR RESULTS: It doesn’t take a microbiologist to understand these results. When Listeria species is present in a sample, the liquid media changes color from amber to black. Simply swab the test area and wait. A change in color after 24-48 hours of incubation is considered presumptive positive.
• FAST LISTERIA TEST KITS: The simple preparation of the one-step enrichment media, and quick and easy sample preparation enable test results within 24 or 48 hours. These can be read easily and directly from the developed strip, without the need for specialized and costly equipment.
