Book Two continues after Book One, Tessa Foxglove has been captured in her Therian Vix form by the villainous auction house owner Ti+An. He used his power to control the roots of the earth to pull her down into his ominous underground lair. His desire is to have her transform back into her human form so he can collect her vast array of magical trinkets and jewelry, however a Therian Vix cannot die while in their animal form so Tessa has been relentlessly tortured for days.Above ground, we continue with Corrie Ciaron at the Kirk of Crests, a religious abbey where they worship the Crest Elementals. Four days ago, Corrie, along with their new friend Beryl, read from the ancient grimoire the Book of Finn. When Corrie read from the book it awoken the connection between Finn and all those who possess tokens of power created from the book. Read more
