ITA bb’s, thanks to the popularity of Italian road bike design, still have a following. The drive-side cup needs to be properly secured, but once that’s done, the system is excellent. 

To have your bike as efficient as possible, reduce mechanical drag. Bottom brackets have a measurable effect on speed. CS balls are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. They run on smoother races, too. They reduce the drag of our Standard Bearing bb’s by 75% when compared to typical bottom brackets. The bearings last at least 3x longer than other bearings.

These bearings come packed with All Round Grease. If you want less drag and are riding in cleaner environs, install the lowest drag Race Day Grease. If you’re riding in wet conditions, a more durable Long-Life Grease can be put in.

Coated

Our coated products are covered by a lifetime warranty. The unique coating formula is a metallic layer that covers the bearing races and makes them 75% harder than steel. Thanks to this, they are highly resistant to corrosion and the coating provides even lower friction than our standard bearings. Even if the bearing is contaminated with degreaser, water, or mud, the risk of bearing failure due to corrosion is negligible if you choose the coated version.
